Pro Star Aviation, LLC was founded in 1998 by five highly experienced and respected industry experts. Together, they formed a partnership that understood the importance of providing quality customer service to corporate aircraft operators. In addition to these partners, the company started with a handful of multi-talented and knowledgeable employees whose average industry experience was more than 15 years.
Currently, the company's facilities include a 17,000 sq ft hangar with 4,000 sq ft of shop and office space inside, and a 3,500 sq ft office building located at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (KMHT) in Londonderry, NH.
Engineering has always been a focal point of Pro Star Aviation's installation business. Starting with one in-house engineer, they have since expanded to five. Two of Pro Star's engineers are FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DER) and together cover Flight Analyst and Systems/Equipment Electrical authorizations. The engineering department also provides custom electrical/structural drawings and develops the necessary FAA approval packages required to accomplish any installations or special missions project in a timely and cost effective manner.
Supplemental Type Certificates (STC's) are continuously in the works at Pro Star Aviation, and are developed within the company or in partnership with other dealers or vendors throughout the industry.
Most STC's have been assimilated into many foreign countries and are sold all over the world (See STC listing on this site). Currently, Pro Star has been awarded over 50 STC's with FAA, EASA and/or ANAC certification ranging from TCAS, FMS, MFD, ESIS, Satcom, HSD, Satellite TV, EGPWS and EFIS systems on all sizes of business & corporate aircraft.
