August 27, 2009 - Pro Star Aviation Announces O.P.S. Initative Director & O.P.S. Team Member
Pro Star Aviation, a national leader in avionics installation and repairs, has announced the appointment of Earl Tempelmeyer as O.P.S. Initiative Director and Lynn Bell as O.P.S. Team Member. Created in 2008, the O.P.S. program stands for maximizing "Opportunities, Performance, and Services" for Pro Star's customers by increasing consistency and delivery of all departmental services through strong leadership, teamwork, and organized skills.
Tempelmeyer comes to Pro Star Aviation after 18 years at Duncan Aviation in Teterboro, NJ. When asked to lead the O.P.S. program, Tempelmeyer was excited with the opportunity since he believes there is always room for improvement. "I thrive on looking for areas of improvement specifically relating to our internal processes which will ultimately result in a better customer service experience," Tempelmeyer explained. "A main focus is on improving efficiency which should help to reduce downtime, while always reinforcing airworthiness, quality and our reputation. Efficiency and consistent attention to detail in every aspect of the job are key elements to superior customer service. That is our goal."
Lynn Bell joins the O.P.S. team with two years of experience at Pro Star Aviation as an Assistant for Engineering, Sales, and Installation. Since joining the team, Bell and Tempelmeyer have already devised ways to improve the program including implementing a more efficient and convenient customer satisfaction survey, which will be available online. "I enjoy being a part of the growth process of O.P.S. especially since I firmly believe in the concept," Bell stated. "I'm finding ways for Pro Star Aviation to work in a more efficient and organized manner while ensuring consistent customer service."
On the heels of Pro Star Aviation's announcement of their O.P.S. program last year, the appointment of Tempelmeyer and Bell demonstrates a serious commitment to the company and to their customers.
