August 27, 2009 - Florida NBAA2008 Successful Mission for Pro Star
Eight key members of the Pro Star Aviation team, representing all company departments have successfully returned from their trip to the 61st annual NBAA Meeting & Convention at Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) from October 6 – 8. According to Donald Fleurant, Technical Services Manager at Pro Star, "We headed down to the show wondering what the overall energy would be due to the current market challenges. People were positive about moving forward with more focus and many great new ideas." Many visitors to the show spend weeks and sometimes months preparing their marketing displays for the throngs of show attendees and although attendance seemed to be down this year, the purpose for the show was on target. According to Fleurant, "We come to the show to see new faces, solidify relationships, and renew our promise and message to the industry. Mission accomplished." At this year’s show, Pro Star Aviation introduced their newest program, the O.P.S. Program. Representing a new standard in opportunities, performance and services, the new program is headed up by some real pros in the industry and was very well received. One show attendee stated, "It is refreshing to see Pro Star’s level of commitment to this new program. We’ve all heard about better customer service and communication, but O.P.S. definitely seems like a more literal and intentional feedback and improvement system." "With the O.P.S. department we have even more potential to stay in contact with customers and interact in a more consistent and comprehensive manner, which helps ensure improvement. There is always room for improvement." says General Manager, Kevin Harriman. In conclusion Fleurant said, "If the energy and attitude of these companies at NBAA last week is any indication of things to come then I sense great confidence and new capabilities in aviation today and in the future. This show was helpful and positive for our team."
