As a Planner/Scheduler, you will directly support Sales, Project Management and Production in planning customer requirements, assembling work packages, production scheduling and capacity planning for the completion of all aircraft maintenance, avionics, and modification projects. Manage the planning and distribution of project requirements with all supporting departments.
Essential Functions:
- Act as a liaison between sales, the customer and production teams
- Coordinate and establish downtime for all Maintenance, Installation and Avionics events
- Work with customers for clarification of requirements to ensure customer expectations are met
- Perform acceptability analysis based on current scheduling requirements and availability of resources
- Coordinate outside services/repairs prior to aircraft arrival
- Research and provide parts requests to Purchasing prior to aircraft arrival
- Research CAMP/Traxxall/Flightdocs due items prior to aircraft arrival
- Research applicable AD’s, SB’s and other maintenance items for aircraft applicability prior to aircraft arrival and during scheduled downtime
- Research aircraft records, and otherwise engage with DAR’s for importation, exportation, ferry flights and other activities as needed
- Assemble work packages in a logical, efficient manner including identification of materials, tooling manpower and technical publications/procedures, prior to scheduled arrival
- Coordinate pre-induction meeting with stakeholders prior to production handoff
- Input data into Quantum as needed
- Interface with customer maintenance tracking program such as CAMP, Traxxall, Flightdocs, etc.
- Assist in preparation of Return to Service documentation, including Logbook entries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Perform other duties, assignments, or special projects as needed
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma/GED
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, for example Part 91, 121, 135 & 145
- Computer skills to include (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project), web-based applications, OEM technical publications
- Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-works, customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Must be able to obtain an Airport Badge
Preferred Education and Experience:
- FAA airframe and powerplant license
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance planning & scheduling
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience using Quantum Control ERP

Works in a clean, air-conditioned office space, free of noise, dust, and humidity.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. This position is very active and the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl all day. Occasional lifting of light items required. No specific vision requirements.
