Glenn Robbins Receives FAA Charles Taylor Award After 50 Years in Aviation

Pro Star Aviation Technician Retires After 17 Years with the Company and a Five-Decade Career in Aviation Maintenance

Robbins spent more than 20 years with U.S. Airways, performing scheduled and line maintenance and serving as Lead Technician on numerous occasions. He also served on the airline’s Safety Committee before becoming Director of Maintenance at Great Bay Aviation.

In 2009, Robbins joined Pro Star Aviation as an Aviation Technician, bringing decades of maintenance experience to the company. Over the next 17 years, he supported Pro Star’s customers and aircraft while contributing his technical knowledge and experience to the organization.

“Receiving the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award is an incredible accomplishment, and it reflects the tireless dedication Glenn has shown throughout his career,” said Jeff Shaw, Director of Sales and Marketing at Pro Star Aviation. “We are proud to have had Glenn as part of the Pro Star team for the past 17 years and grateful for the knowledge and experience he brought to our organization and our customers.”

Reaching 50 years in aviation maintenance is a significant career milestone, representing decades of technical expertise, commitment to safety, and dedication to the aviation industry. As Robbins enters retirement, Pro Star Aviation celebrates both his FAA recognition and the lasting impact of his career.
